SHIB The Metaverse Reveals the Rocket Pond Trailer; Ryoshi Plaza to Come Next
Rocket Pond will be set in a remote mountain resort and will reflect Shiba Inu's journey and narrative.
Prepare to be amazed by Rocket Pond, a mesmerizing stop in SHIB's Metaverse
Rocket Pond is one of the 11 hubs making up Shiba's virtual world. The new landscape will be set in a remote mountain resort, depicting Shiba's journey and narrative. The design is inspired by magnificent locales, such as Cape Canaveral, Monument to the Conquerors of Space, Lake Tahoe, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, and Heavenly Village.
"Rocket Pond brings the feel of a hidden resort inside of mountains, The YMCA or KOA camping vibe with wilderness around you mixed with modern luxuries/touristy elements," wrote SHIB in an official blog post.
Rocket Pond was revealed in black-and-white sketches last September, giving users a first glimpse into what the metaverse would look like. While fans will no doubt be thrilled with the latest drop, SHIB is not slowing down by teasing the future reveal of Ryoshi Plaza. Accordingly, this remarkable location will be the beating heart of SHIB's Metaverse, packed with awe-inspiring beauty and rich cultural references.
On top of that, SHIB has dropped some brand-new details on Game Maker, one of its most powerful dev tools in SHIB The Metaverse. The tool, built with a realistic physics engine, allows users to create unique, engaging gameplay experiences with 3D models, game logic objects, game templates, and an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Not only it allows users to create spaces for leisure and fun, but it also serves as a platform for landowners to launch their businesses.
According to Shiba, SHIB The Metaverse will partially go live by the end of 2023.
