Shrapnel Shares New Gameplay Trailer
The trailer was built using Unreal Engine 5 for quality graphics and sound.
The Trailer shows the Actions of a First-Person Shooter
Shrapnel has shared some details of its gameplay via a video on Twitter. The multiplayer gameplay footage shows a first-person shooter trying to beat other rivals to a chunk of materials said to be worth millions. The trailer was made in partnership with Plastic Wax, an animation studio based in Sydney that has produced titles like Fortnite and Tomb Raider. The script was written by CEO Mark Long and directed by JerryO'Flahertyy.
The blockchain-based game is based on a story about a drastic change in the planet's atmosphere when an asteroid collided with the moon.
As the story progresses, new material is discovered in the ''Sacrifice Zon'' or ''The Zon'' that can shift physics and alter dimensions, making them important. They are known as Shrapnel, and different groups are vying to extract the product from the zone. Players must team up with Mercenary Extraction Forces to fight other players until they reach the top.
Shrapnel Runs on Unreal Engine 5
Shrapnel is considered one of the best games because players can be in control of their assets through smart contracts on the platform.
The company released a cinematic trailer last week, and it has seen over 14k views. This is the 14th game title handled by the company's CEO, Mark Long.
In a statement, Long said,
"Producing this trailer was one of the most awesome creative collaborations I've ever had. This was my third time working with JerryO'Flahertyy. Like everyone on the team, Jerry is an expert in the cinematic application of Unreal Engine, and he knew how to get the kind of "you are there'’ immediacy of a virtual handheld camera that the script demanded."
