Skyweaver Rewards : Players Can Now Earn Weekly Rewards while playing Conquest
Skyweaver recently announced the news of weekly rewards for playing Conquest mode. As a result, players can now earn weekly chests in addition to Silver and Gold cards while playing Conquest.
The Skyweaver weekly rewards feature cards, cosmetics, or even special items that cannot be found anywhere else. This feature is expected to go live with Patch 100, sometime later this year.
What’s the game all about?
Skyweaver lies somewhere between a regular web game, and a web3 game. The game does not include any tokens. Moreover, their cards cannot be traded with others. However, the game does support in-house trading for USDC tokens via a liquidity pool system. Skyweaver also has an in-game wallet that allows for simple USDC transfers to and from the game ecosystem via the Polygon network.
Interestingly, Skyweaver does not sell any of their cards either. That's right, a card game in which no cards are sold. Instead, players obtain all cards through gameplay.
The game is entirely free to play, but purchasing a key-to-access Conquest mode costs $1.50 USDC.
Skyweaver Conquest Weekly Rewards
Skyweaver has a play-to-earn economy available through a special game mode 'Conquest'. Players can use USDC to purchase Conquest mode tickets. The game awards Silver and Gold cards to players on winning conquests. Players can directly trade these cards for USDC in-game. If you’re a competent and consistent player, it is very possible to make more money selling cards than you spend buying Conquest keys.
Now that Skyweaver has weekly Conquest points, it has a new layer. So, when players play to level up their Treasure chest, they can earn Earn Conquest points. Every week, Treasure Chest will open on its own at the end of the week. A player needs at least 250 points to get in.
Players earn points for finishing matches (+4), playing with Silver cards (+1) or Gold cards (+3), or using Legacy Hero Skins (points to be determined). So, using only Gold cards in a deck would net the player 94 points per match.
This is a welcome boost to Skyweaver's economy. Increasing the potential rewards encourages players to spend more time in Conquest mode.
