Sleep-to-Earn Web3 Lifestyle App SleeFi is Launching into Closed Beta
Want to sleep and earn? If yes, you might not want to miss this chance to try out a closed beta version of the SleeFi app.
Meet SleeFi, the sleep-to-earn Web3 app that is heading into closed beta
Ok, let's face it. Who doesn't want to make money while they're having a good night's sleep? Apparently, a Web3 lifestyle app called SleeFi is on a mission to turn sleep-to-earn into reality. As the app is moving into closed beta, let's take a closer look at what SleeFi is.
To begin with, SleeFi will kick off a 7-day closed beta testing starting from August 15th until August 21st. Though the tester slots are now limited to 4,000 pax, the team is planning to increase it to 5,500 soon. However, the next round of applications is not opened yet. So, those who want to apply as beta testers will need to wait for further announcements.
If everything goes smoothly, the Genesis Bed NFT sale will go live on September 2nd, followed by SLFT (SleeFi token) listing on DEX in late September. By early October, the SleeFi app will launch into open beta on App Store and Play Store.
How does sleep-to-earn work in SleeFi?
Built on the Avalanche network, SleeFi is a novel Web3 app that allows users to earn crypto by sleeping through the night (or day). All they need to do is equip themselves with NFT beds. Then measure their sleep once per day to start earning SLFT (SleeFi token) or SLGT (SleeFi Governance token).
Within the app, you can buy different types of NFT beds based on your preferred sleep duration. In fact, you can also level up your bed and improve its attributes to earn more tokens.
During beta testing, SleeFi will largely depend on Google Fit to track users' sleeping time on Android devices. In future releases though, it will be possible for users to track their sleep through wearable devices. With sleep-to-earn still in its infancy, SleeFi is set to gain a first mover advantage in this very niche market.
