Star Atlas Publishes State Of The Economy Report
The report contains updates such as statistics on the labour force, average earnings, and analysis of SCORE performance.
The developer of Star Atlas, ATMTA Inc., has published a report titled State of the Economy. This report was compiled by the Department of Economics at ATMTA Inc and provided facts, figures, and insight into the rapidly growing economy of the gaming ecosystem.
Details Of State Of The Economy Report
Star Atlas is a gaming metaverse that works on the Solana network and uses Unreal Engine’s Nanite graphics technology.
The report includes new developments such as adding labour force as an important metric in metaverse economies, the first census of the Star Atlas, and a study showing Star Atlas made up 1% of global crypto adoption last December.
It also included a 49.1% increase in the size of the labour force, an 18% increase in aggregate daily ATLAS wages, a 27.1% decline in the average wage per ship, and a reduced aggregate employment rate of 3.7%.
SCORE Analysis
The paper also analyzed players’ behavior in the ecosystem, especially with its first gameplay module, Faction Fleet or SCORE (Ships Commission On Remote Expeditions), launched in December 2021.
In this study, SCORE was found to be resilient despite prevailing market volatility, thus revealing the commitment of Star Atlas to serving as a platform for metaverse exploration, which has translated to diversity in fleets and classes of ships that players purchase on the platform.
Commenting on the report, the CEO of ATMTA, Michael Wagner, said,
“We’re building a decentralized worldwide digital country with a virtual economy for people to participate in. In this first of many reports, the economics team has done tremendous work in showing the transformative potential of the industry for the global population.”
