Starbots teases Fusion feature
The upcoming Fusion feature of the robot battle NFT title will allow players to combine 3 body parts in order to get a new one that might be rarer and come with better stats.
Developer Starbots Studio has teased in a recent tweet that the Fusion feature is set to come out soon.
In the tweet we also got a bit of info on the upcoming feature, with the team stating that players will be able to fuse 3 body parts into one new part that might be rarer and include better stats. An exact release date to the new feature has not been revealed at the time of writing.
Season 4 of the open beta version of the game finished at the end of last month, and a new one now is currently underway. That season brought us version 1.3.0 which marked the release of the Magic feature, giving players a chance to get varying bonus buffs to body parts and gadgets while playing.
Starbots is a play-to-earn robot battle game where players get to build battle robots out of a couple of different body parts. They can be upgraded as well as mixed with various different weapons in an effort to gain a strategic edge. Over time these robots also have to be repaired. Next to PVP gameplay, players can also complete missions on a variety of different planets. In both cases, it’s possible to earn $GEAR, which is the game’s reward token used for leveling up various items and more, while the other token of the game is $BOT, a governance token used for staking, voting and more.
