STEPN adds Sneaker Enhancement in new version
The Sneaker Enhancement allows players to burn 5 pairs of lower-quality Sneakers in order to get one better Sneaker.

The most popular move-to-earn Web3 app, STEPN, now has a new feature called Sneaker Enhancement.
This means that players will now be able to burn 5 pairs of Sneakers of lower quality in order to get one better Sneaker. The Sneakers being burned must all be of the same quality in order to successfully receive a Sneaker that is guaranteed to be "of the next higher quality." There is however a chance that you get a Sneaker that is two qualities above the ones being burned, but the possibility of that happening is small.
"For those who are lucky to get a two-level-up from the Sneaker Enhancement, there will be a pleasant surprise for you in the coming weeks."
The team has said that the new NFT gained from the Sneaker Enhancement will have its minimum and maximum attributes increased by 20%. When it comes to the type of Sneaker you get, that will depend on the types of Sneakers being burned - if most of the NFTs being burned is a Walker, then there is a higher chance to receive a Sneaker of the same type instead of another one.
Next to this new feature, the update also disables energy sharing across realms, with the developers stating that "energy sharing rules proposed in the Action Plan will be fully implemented at the launch of the next Realm."
The new version also fixes some bugs, includes a Help Center and an upgraded Feedback function.
These are just some of the new changes part of the team's Action Plan, a plan aimed at improving the economy of the Solana-based game, with further adjustments from the plan set to be included in the lifestyle app in the near future.
