Summoners War: Lost Centuria adds play-to-earn gameplay mechanics
The mobile spin-off of the popular Summoners War franchise introduces new in-game currencies that can be converted into crypto.
Com2uS, a South Korean mobile game publisher and developer known for its smash hit Summoners Wars franchise has recently introduced play-to-earn mechanics into its spin-off title Summoners War: Lost Centuria. This makes Lost Centuria the first game to make its way onto C2X, a blockchain gaming platform built on the Terra blockchain.
President of Com2uS USA, Kyu Lee, said:

Their first anniversary update tweaks the monster progression system by introducing Ancient Runes, which can be crafted using new in-game currencies called Magic Power Dust and Ancient Crystals. Magic Power Dust can be earned by completing daily quests while Ancient Crystals can be gained through season tally rewards. Both currencies play an important role in the game’s play-to-earn ecosystem, and they can also both be obtained via World Tournament rewards.
These in-game currencies can be exchanged into two different cryptocurrencies. Specifically, Magic Power Dust can be sold for LCT, while Ancient Crystals can be swapped for C2X tokens ($CTX). C2X and LCT can be exchanged interchangeably at the C2X Station.
Summoners War: Lost Centuria is a mobile strategy RPG on Android and iOS where you play through various fast-paced 3D battles in which you send 8 different monsters into strategic 8v8 combat. Create your own deck, set up your own formation and take to the frontlines against other players around the world, using a variety of different monster spells to your advantage.
