Sweat Hero Closed Beta Gets Battle and Earn Update
More than 5000 testers can try out the new Battle and Earn update for the closed beta version of Sweat Hero, which makes it possible to wager Battle Coins for a chance at earning more $SWEAT. The open beta is planned to come out at the end of this month.
This new update lets more than 5000 closed beta testers go head to head against each other in order to try and earn Battle Coins, and consequently $SWEAT.
In order to play, closed beta testers need to turn their $SWEAT into Battle Coins, as these coins are needed as a wager in order to play, with both sides of the match placing a certain number of coins to a reward pool from which the winner of the match gets to take all off the wagered coins. This works by having users select a certain wager and opting to play a battle, from which a unique link is generated that you can then send to your friends to challenge them for a battle. The person who ends up having the higher score wins and takes all the coins with a -20% fee. Coins earned from these battles go into the Battle Wallet, from where they can be used for more battles as well as withdrawn to $SWEAT.
The developers are taking their time to test this new feature during closed beta in order to make sure it’s “scalable and stable” before moving to an open beta launch. Open beta is set to start sometime at the end of this month, when users will be able to get a non-minted NFT avatar, and according to the announcement, the game “will have a significant impact on supply due to the supply sink” because every battle played means a percentage of a wager getting burned, thus affecting the supply of $SWEAT. “With potentially hundreds of thousands of battles in the coming months, the effect on supply could be extraordinary,” reads the official post.
