Tactical idle RPG Chromatic Souls: AFK Raid now available for Android and iOS devices
Made by South Korean mobile game developer and publisher Com2uS, the new free-to-play, play-to-earn title marks the second game to be integrated with the C2X blockchain gaming platform.
A new play-to-earn title has made its way onto Android and iOS devices last week. This one’s from Com2uS, the South Korean mobile game developer and publisher who recently incorporated play-to-earn mechanics in Summoners War: Lost Centuria, a spin-off strategy RPG in the company’s well-known Summoners War franchise.
Chromatic Souls: AFK Raid is a free-to-play mobile top-down tactical idle RPG where you play as a medieval character in a 4-hero party going on dangerous adventures packed with fantasy monsters to slay. There are 4 different classes: Knight, Mage, Rogue and Druid, with each class having its own unique skills crucial for forming successful strategies against the many different bosses inhabiting the kingdom of Rohan. Each class also has different equipment that comes in the form of NFTs, which can be crafted and of course traded.
Whether playing in a group with other players or friends or journeying solo with NPCs filling up the party, you’ll be leveling up your character and fighting your way through hand-painted environments even when the game is closed, thanks to the game’s Idle mode.
Chromatic Souls is the second game to be integrated with the C2X blockchain gaming platform, with the first being Summoners War: Lost Centuria. Because of this, a C2X Station wallet is required to be synced in order to participate in the play-to-earn ecosystem.
The game’s main cryptocurrency is CST, which you can get by swapping Mithril, one of the three in-game currencies that can be found in Mithril Mines but also attained via special missions. To exchange Mithril for CST, players will need to have at least 1500 Mithril to successfully swap, with a daily max of 4000 allowed to be exchanged per day. The other two in-game currencies are Soul Stones and Dimension Coins. Soul Stones are given to the top 20 Party and Solo players and can be sold for C2X ($CTX) if at least 1000 Soul Stones are being swapped. Dimension Coins can be earned in various different ways, with one Dimension Coin necessary in order to swap Mihtril to CST.
A PvP mode may potentially be released in Q4 this year.
