The Enjin Blockchain Is Officially Launching on September 13th
The Enjin Blockchain, a Substrate-based Layer 1 featuring NFT functions at the protocol layer, is officially launching on September 13th at 7 PM GMT+8, with core features such as managed wallets, fuel tanks, governance and staking, and more.

After announcing the Enjin Blockchain back in June this year, the NFT network is finally set to officially launch on September 13th at 7 PM SGT (GMT+8).
This is a new Layer 1 network featuring NFT functions at the protocol layer. It’ll be supported by the existing Enjin apps that include the Enjin Wallet, the NFT.io marketplace, the Enjin Platform for NFT no-code integration, and the Bean NFT QR code distribution system. These apps will work seamlessly with the new network, according to the announcement.
The goal of the new blockchain is to make NFTs accessible to everyone while fulfilling the original visions of Enjin and Efinity. As a result, the new chain will mark the consolidation of the Enjin and Efinity communities, making one of the oldest gaming ecosystems run on one unified token, ENJ.
With the official launch, the developers will formally integrate the Efinity Matrixchain into the Enjin Matrixchain as the pioneer matrixchain on the new Layer 1. This decision was approved via a governance proposal that took place back in June this year.
The Enjin Coin (ENJ) will be migrated 1:1 from ERC-20 to the Substrate-based Enjin Blockchain. Efinity Tokens (EFI) will be swapped to ENJ at a 4:1 ratio.
The launch will also mark the start of the chain’s core features that include governance and staking, managed wallets, fuel tanks, and more.
