Beta Season 2 Details
In this second season of the beta version of this Ronin-powered title, the in-game store has gone live, allowing players to get new Halloween-themed skins that are available for a limited time. By logging in during this season, you’ll be awarded with a welcome bundle that contains in-game currency you can use for character upgrades and skins. The bundle also features an Uncommon Playmaker Skin. In a tweet, the developers reminded the community that the skins you can get now will be possible to mint on the Ronin Network once the full release comes along sometime next year.
Revamped Death Run & New Game Mode: H.O.G.
The PvE-focused mode, Death Run, has been revamped to introduce character upgrades and new enemy encounters to face. There are actually 7 new enemies to fight: Assault Bot, Flame Turret, Slicer Drone, Basher, Poisoner, Boomer, and Bruiser. You can now earn Cores which you can spend on various character upgrades in order to set up a build to suit your preferred playstyle.
H.O.G., short for Hand of god, is a new multiplayer game mode powered by generative AI; it involves one player acting as the hand who uses prompts to create maps and challenges, while two other players have to do their best to survive whatever the hand throws at them.
