The Primal Giostone League To Start in January With $20K Initial Prize Pool
Matches will be split between Europe and Southeast Asia, played on Saturdays and Sundays starting January 14th, 2023.

M-Tech Entertainment, the gaming studio behind Battle For Giostone, a Web3 esports MOBA, has announced the Primal Giostone League.
This is a 32-team round-robin tournament that will last for 4 months and is split between Europe and Southeast Asia. It has an initial prize pool of $20K, which could potentially be increased if any sponsorships end up happening. Next to the prize pool, both players and viewers alike will also have a chance at winning whitelist spots, Heroes and more.
A total of 224 players will be able to participate, with each team having 5 starting players and 2 substitutes. Those who’d like to compete in this League will need to fill out the Primal Giostone application form, but before doing so, it’s necessary to become a pre-alpha tester first, which can be done by opening a ticket in the game’s official Discord server to request the role. Once the role’s been given, you will be able to download the game’s launcher.
In the event that too many teams end up signing up, a qualifier round will take place to determine who gets to progress into the Primal Giostone League.
Two matches will be played every weekend, totaling to 90 minutes of competitive gameplay per weekend. Once the round robin format has concluded, the best 8 teams will then move onto the Winner Bracket, while the bottom sides will go through the Loser Bracket. After these Brackets are the Playoffs leading up all the way to the Finals.
Matches will be played on Saturdays and Sundays, with the first round set to commence on January 14th, 2023.
