The House of SAM concept
The Samsung Group, a multinational South Korean manufacturing organization, recently launched its metaverse experience “House of SAM” on a virtual reality platform, Decentraland. This experience serves as a platform for users to know more about Samsung products in a fully enveloping virtual environment.
It also provides its users an opportunity to explore a vast gaming experience. Users can play mini-games such as Color Match and then take up gaming challenges like the Let’s Dance Challenge. Winners and Participating guests would be awarded NFTs (wearables) for their avatars. The House of SAM presents a platform for its users’ avatars to interact and participate in various activities like shows, events, and exclusive courses.
It will also function as a hub where users can learn more about SmartThings – an application, a subsidiary of Samsung electronics, that connects and controls smart electronic devices and brand devices like Samsung smart TVs. The House of SAM debuted on October 1 and is located next to the Samsung 837x concept store in the metaverse.
