The Sandbox Announces First VoxEdit Short Contest: Horror Dungeon Assets
The first VoxEdit Short Contest challenges The Sandbox community to create usable horror dungeon assets within a 6-day period for a chance at earning a share of the 10k $SAND prize pool, with the first 100 valid participants outside the top 10 set to be given 20 $SAND tokens.

The Sandbox has announced a new series of competitions: VoxEdit Short Contests, where contestants have 6 days to create usable assets. They’re kicking off the series in spooky fashion, starting off with the following theme: horror dungeon assets.
Contest Details
For this first contest in this new creative series of competitive events, participants are tasked with making horror and dungeon-related assets. The announcement states that they don’t need to have animations, but they have to be “highly usable.” Those who want to can still animate them though, but the goal is to create “usable assets with good collisions” that fit into any horror or dungeon environment.
Prizes
For this contest, there is a 10k $SAND prize pool, distributed on the Polygon network to the top 10 entries and for the first 100 valid participants outside the top 10. The winner will earn 2000 $SAND, while 2nd place gets 1500 $SAND, and 3rd place 1000 $SAND. Submissions ranked from 4th to 10th get 500 tokens each, while the first 100 valid participants outside the top 10 will receive 20 $SAND tokens.
The top 5 assets will be minted, and in order to have a chance at being ranked in the top 3, you need to complete KYC verification or be a verified creator. A verified creator is someone who has previously taken part in 5 contests and made it to the top 10 in one of them, or has a studio linked with a GMF (Game Maker Fund) account.
Submissions for this contest opened on November 15th and will close on November 20th at 11:59 PM UTC.
If you’re looking for more Halloween-related events, then don’t forget to take part in the FallO’ween event, which ends on November 28th.
