The Sandbox Begins Madballs VoxEdit Poster Contest
The Madballs VoxEdit Poster Contest is now live, challenging The Sandbox community to create a poster featuring a voxel Madball creation for a chance at winning a share of a 15k $SAND prize pool, with submissions set to close on November 8th at 11:59 PM UTC.
What Is the Goal of This VoxEdit Contest?
For this contest, the theme is about creating a Halloween-inspired Madballs Voxel poster, using VoxEdit to make the main part of the poster. This means that you should use the free tool to create the main creation that could be your own inspired Madball creation or a recreation of your favorite Madball, and then you should make your own poster in which you can place your voxel asset. The team has provided the below posters as examples you can take inspiration from if you’re not sure how to go about this. It’s certainly an interesting twist from the usual previous contests that usually revolve around only using VoxEdit for your entry.
What Are the Prizes?
By entering this contest, you will be in the run for a chance of winning a share of the 15k $SAND prize pool. This reward pool will be distributed to the top 10 entries. In order to be in the top 5, you need to either be a verified creator or have completed KYC verification. A verified creator is someone who either has a studio linked with a GMF (Game Maker Fund) account, or has taken part in 5 contests, successfully making it to the top 10 in one of them.
The winner of this contest will be awarded with 6k $SAND, while 2nd place takes 3500 $SAND, 3rd place 2000 $SAND, and the remaining spots in the top 10 receive 500 $SAND tokens each. All rewards are sent on the Polygon network.
This contest started on October 25th. You have until November 8th, 11:59 PM UTC to send in your submission. Results are set to be announced on November 25th.
