The Sandbox Introduces Steampunk VoxEdit Contest
Steampunk VoxEdit Contest begins on June 5 and ends on June 18.
The Sandbox has announced another edition of VoxEdit tagged Steampunk VoxEdit Contest. This event allows artists to create a character or items that can be utilized within a Steampunk-inspired experience.
In this edition, The Sandbox is adding Equipment as an extra category to the previously existing categories: Regular and Beginner. Users are challenged to create a set or a single asset from an equipment template inspired by Steampunk. They have the opportunity to design independently or combined machines, steam, cogs, and clocks to make some amazing equipment for avatars.
The Sandbox encourages users to brace up for the upcoming artistic contest by investing their invention mindset to create breathtaking machineries, characters, and gadgets.
Steampunk VoxEdit Contest Prize Pool
Steampunk VoxEdit Contest has different prize pools for each category. In the Regular category, the top ten entries will win 15,000 SAND. Here is the prize distribution: 1st place – 6,000 SAND, 2nd place — 3,500 SAND, 3rd place — 2,000 SAND, 4th to 10 — 500 SAND each. Besides these prizes, the top three of this category will be able to mint their asset.
The top ten winners of the Beginner Friendly category will share 5,000 SAND: 1st place – 1,500 SAND, 2nd place — 1,000 SAND, 3rd place — 750 SAND, 4th to 10 — 250 SAND each. For the Equipment category, the top ten winners will win 5,000 SAND and would receive prizes under this format: 1st place – 1,500 SAND, 2nd place — 1,000 SAND, 3rd place — 750 SAND, 4th to 10 — 250 SAND each.
All entries of the Steampunk VoxEdit Contest must be submitted between June 5 and June 18, 11:59 PM UTC. The results would be announced within the duration of June 25 to July 1, 2023. Users should submit a GIF of their asset, tweet the GIF and submit via form.
