The Sandbox Launches 90’s Nostalgia in Web3 VoxEdit Contest

The Sandbox Partners with Coinbase in VoxEdit Contest
The Sandbox has launched another VoxEdit contest in partnership with Coinbase wallet. Sandbox is a virtual world where users can create gaming experiences using the Ethereum network.
The platform has three core integrated products that help with user-generated content: the Vox Editor, which content creators can use to build and animate voxel models; Game Maker, where they can share and monetize their games on the Sandbox gaming platform; and the Marketplace where they can buy, sell and trade their assets.
Details Of the Contest
In this latest VoxEdit contest, creators must create a Web3 asset using a favourite icon from the 90s.
A pool prize of 15000 SAND will be split between the top entries. The winner will get 6000 SANd while the 2nd and 3rd will get 3500 SAND and 2000 SAND, respectively. The 4th to 10th place will get 500 SAND each. The top ten entries will also get 50 SAND each to celebrate the partnership with Coinbase.
The date for submission is 00:00 pm UTC, August 29, and it will close at 23:59 UTC, September 11. The review and voting will run from September 12 to 25, while the result will be announced on October 3. Participants must create a GIF of their fully animated asset and tweet the GIF mentioning @VoxEdit, @CoinbaseWallet and @TheSandboxGame.
The entries must be original, unique, not plagiarized, or of low quality, as they will be disqualified at the judge’s discretion. In addition, they must not contain racist, homophobic or other inappropriate references. Players must go through the VoxEdit Contest Guidelines and make their entry in the Sandbox’s free VoxEdit software. The dimension of the asset must not exceed 5000 faces, 175 nodes and 512 voxels. The maximum floor print is 512 x 512 x 512.
