The Sandbox set to build K-Drama Metaverse in collaboration with Studio Dragon
The Sandbox has partnered with the South Korean storyteller group Studio Dragon to introduce their productions in the Metaverse.
The Sandbox has announced a collaboration with South Korean storytelling group Studio Dragon to usher their drama content into the Metaverse.
Studio Dragon is Asia’s leading drama studio with over 183 global productions, with notable projects such as Mine, Vincenzo, Hotel del Luna, Stranger, and Another Miss Oh, among many others. The Studio oversees the complete production process of these projects involving content planning, development, financing, production and distribution.
Through this collaboration, Studio Dragon’s intellectual properties will be built on The Sandbox as K-drama playground, allowing the studio mint avatar accessories and game item NFTs.
Furthermore, Studio Dragon will be able to create collaborated content with global IPs on The Sandbox thereby enabling K-drama have access to a broader audience while immersing the viewers in a fresh and exciting experience.
Commenting on the partnership, Director of content IP department of Studio Dragon, Bong-ryul Ryu said:
