The Unfettered gets listed on Steam as an Early Access title
The Unfettered is a dark fantasy action RPG with souls-like gameplay, coming soon on Steam in Early Access as a free-to-play title, while the full version is planned to come out by the end of next year.
Trender Software and Awkay Technologies have announced that The Unfettered has officially been listed on Steam as an Early Access title.
Those who are looking forward to the free-to-play title can now add the game to their wishlist on their Steam profile by heading to the official store page linked in the tweet down below. Doing so could help with increasing visibility of the blockchain title on the biggest PC gaming platform, as wishlists are one of the metrics used by Steam’s algorithm to determine which title should get more attention from the platform’s userbase.
This listing follows up on the recent news that one of the Web3 titles from Gala Games, Superior, is also launching on Steam, which further seems to show that Valve will allow NFT games on their platform, so long as the Steam version does not have any blockchain elements.
This play-to-earn title is a dark fantasy RPG where players go on an adventure as a warrior named Lura battling various different monsters across a ravaged world in souls-like gameplay. It’s made in Unreal Engine 4 and there is currently no exact info on when it’ll launch in Early Access, but what the Early Access section of the Steam store page does mention however is that they plan to exit Early Access and release the full version at some point in roughly late 2023. They also mention that during this phase, the game will be free to play, after which a “fee will be determined when the full version is released.”
