The Walking Dead: Empires Releases New Playtest
The Playtest has new zones, updates and features and will run for two weeks.
The New Playtest
The Walking Dead: Empires has announced another playtest, which will commence on March 20th and run for two straight. In the last playtest, players could enter the wasteland, build bases, and defeat walkers. AMC and Gala Games are now calling on the remaining survivors to get their weapons and use all the new features built by the Dev team.
The game map has also expanded in time, and in this version, players can build bases across 81 zones instead of mine that were available in the previous season. The map now captures most of all the rarities of Land and has battlegrounds where players can test their mettle against others in PvP mode. Apart from other players, several walkers have new behaviours in the game. Special walters have been included in the game, and they have more sophisticated interactions and can even form themselves into groups.
Players can also add more territories around the base they have built. A strong base is important to influence the surrounding areas as it is a game of strength, and only those with more influence may add to their territory.
Alliances and Crafting Stations
Players can join or build alliances with a maximum of 20 players. This will allow them to stand as a team and defeat any incoming enemy. Standing alone makes it easy for other teams or individuals to capture the territory, hence the need to form a team.
The demo will also host special missions and events. Players can use the identity of their Hero Cards during the exercise. Hero XP at the end of the XP will be added to the unique Hero NFT.
The game also has crafting stations, allowing players to make low-tier items.
