Gods Unchained is one of the most popular free-to-play blockchain TCGs. It’s made by Immutable, who hired Chris Clay, the former game director of Magic: The Gathering – Arena, who worked on the digital edition up until the open beta phase, to lead the development of this NFT title. According to the official website, more than $178+ million worth of cards have been exchanged to date. Cards can be earned by simply playing the game, with the option to combine duplicates into NFTs if you have enough $GODS and the in-game resource, Flux. You can also earn NFT cards by playing during Weekend Ranked events that take place every week.
Gods Unchained runs on the Immutable network and is playable on PC through its downloadable launcher. It can also be downloaded from the Epic Games Store after getting listed there in June this year. A mobile version is in the works at the time of writing by Immutable’s partner studio, iLogos.

This can be done through Ranked mode, which features a weekly reward system through which you can win tradable Silver NFT cards. For the rare, limited edition Gold NFT cards, you have to play the Conquest mode, where you need to get 3 wins in a row in order to get your prize. You need to have a Conquest ticket to play this mode though, which you can get by paying $1.5 USDC or by trading in your Silver card. This means that if you lose, your ticket is gone, and you’ll need to get another one in order to try and get the 3-match winning streak.
Skyweaver can be played directly through browsers as well as on mobile devices as a cross-platform title.

It’s currently in a prototype alpha state called the Proto-Alpha, available as a free-to-play downloadable PC title, allowing players to enjoy an early version of skill-based gameplay that is still subject to change. This July marked the introduction of Ranked Seasons, with the first one set to end on August 4th. Rewards for this season include the game’s soulbound token, Alpha Fame, with future seasons set to potentially feature a wider range of prizes.

Cross The Ages is a free-to-play ecosystem that takes place in a dystopian, dynamic universe that merges sci-fi and fantasy elements. It currently consists of a trading card game geared towards mobile devices, with an open-world called Arise set to come out in the future, alongside potentially more unannounced titles. The games are based on 7 novels that are free to read, two of which have been published so far.
In the TCG, players can earn various different digital cards which can be minted into NFTs, so long as the supply hasn’t been filled yet. Through the Crafting system, players can upgrade their cards through 3 different steps: Power Up, Awakening, and Merge. In the first step, players spend the obtainable currency Trisel and sacrifice various cards of the same rarity to increase the power of their desired card. Once a card has reached max power rank, they can move on to the second stop, which lets you awaken an alternate version of the card using Trisel, replacing the standard one while increasing its power. This part is necessary if you want to do Merge, where some alternative cards can be merged to create a combo version, making it an even more powerful card.
