Tourism Authority of Thailand Launches NFT Treasure Hunt at Iconic Locations

Explore Thailand's Iconic Locations with “Amazing Thailand NFTs Season 3”
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has introduced an exciting new project, "Amazing Thailand NFTs Season 3," offering citizens and tourists an opportunity to experience a unique NFT treasure hunt at some of the country's most celebrated attractions and landmarks. Over 55,000 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) will be scattered across various points of interest, airports, and goods and services providers in Thailand's five diverse regions.
To design these exclusive NFTs, TAT partnered with Riety Studio, a renowned creative hub specializing in illustration, 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, design, and filming. Through this collaboration, each NFT has been thoughtfully crafted to embody the essence of Thailand's rich culture and attractions, providing collectors with a unique digital keepsake of their explorations.
Collecting NFTs through the YAKS Application for Exclusive Benefits
Thai and international travelers can participate in the digital scavenger hunt through the YAKS application, available for both Android and iOS users. Once acquired, collectors will be entitled to exclusive benefits and privileges, including discounted airfares and accommodations, special deals on car rentals, travel agencies, shopping, and more.
"Amazing Thailand NFTs Season 3" builds on the success of previous seasons, with TAT's initiative to leverage Web3 technology elevating Thailand's tourism industry to new heights. The project follows the triumph of "Amazing Thailand NFTs Season 2," held in April 2023, and the inaugural "Amazing Thailand NFTs" project in 2022, exceeding expectations and driving engagement within the digital realm.
Thailand's enthusiastic embrace of Web3 technology is evident, with The Bank of Thailand announcing its plans to issue three licenses by 2024, enabling authorized virtual banks to commence operations in 2025. This significant move positions the country at the forefront of the digital frontier, propelling its tourism industry into a new era of innovation and exploration.
