TOWER Ecosystem Announces Chaos Kingdom, a New Web3 Game
Chaos Kingdom is an upcoming Web3 game coming to the TOWER Ecosystem in alpha on web browsers sometime next week. It will feature tower defense gameplay similar to Crazy Defense Heroes, while providing a more tokenized experience where players will be able to mint cards and turn resources into NFTs.
A new Web3 game has been announced to be joining the TOWER Ecosystem: Chaos Kingdom.
What is Chaos Kingdom?
Based on the official announcement, Chaos Kingdom is a blockchain title that heavily borrows the design of the well-known Crazy Defense Heroes (CDH) mobile game. As such, you can expect this new game similar gameplay involving cards and progression through stages, so experienced players will feel right at home. There will be similar card types, heroes, and a familiar overall tower defense gameplay loop of placing towers in the form of cards to defend against waves of enemies, earning rewards when completing a stage to use for upgrading your cards.
The key difference between the two games is that in Chaos Kingdom, game assets will actually be tokenized, existing on the Polygon network. This means that the resources you earn for upgrading cards will actually be possible to convert into ERC-1155 NFTs, allowing you to trade them with other players. This conversion process will require paying a claim fee using $TOWER tokens, alongside the standard Polygon transaction fee. The amount you’ll have to pay will depend on the number of resources you are claiming.

While the gameplay will be similar, there are a few other differences that might be worth noting. In the new game, you won’t have to linearly go through stages, but will instead be able to play whichever one you want from the get go. This does not affect the difficulty of each stage however, with the first set of playable stages set to be marked in 4 different difficulties.
When it comes to the card system, cards will initially be off-chain assets, but in a future update, will require players to actually mint them in order to play.
When is Chaos Kingdom Launching?
Chaos Kingdom is set to launch sometime during next week. The official announcement does not provide an exact release date, but it does state that it is an alpha release, so expect bugs and significant changes as development progresses. Unlike Crazy Defense Heroes, which is playable on mobile, Chaos Kingdom will be available on desktop browsers only by connecting a MetaMask wallet, without needing to pay any fee to play.
