UFO Gaming Unveils New Whitepaper 2.0
UFO Gaming has published the whitepaper 2.0 for their play-to-earn ecosystem, featuring info on token utility, Genesis NFTs, the closed beta phase of top-down shooter Super Galactic, and more.
UFO Gaming has officially unveiled the new dynamic whitepaper, version 2.0, in their latest monthly recap article.
The publishing of this new whitepaper was initially teased at the beginning of this month, when they revealed the plan to merge the April and May monthly reports into this special edition one.
This updated version contains details on the token utility of $UFO and $UAP, as well as info on the staking dApp, official NFT marketplace, Genesis NFTs, Super Galactic, and more.
Super Galactic is the ecosystem’s debut title which launched in closed alpha last year. It’s a play-to-earn top-down shooter where players use NFTs to complete various missions in order to earn various rewards, such as the in-game currency, $UAP. That’s one of the 3 tokens the game’s economy revolves around, with the other two being $UFO, the primary ecosystem token, and Plasma Points, which are used for minting Genesis NFTs and can be gained by staking $UFO. Next to missions, there will be daily quests to complete too, using the earned $UAP to upgrade the rarity of weapons but also body parts, as each NFT consists of 6 different body parts of varying rarity, power scores and levels.
The game has went through various huge updates since its initial alpha launch last year, with the developers introducing a PVP and looting system alongside second-generation playable Genesis NFTs, tutorials, a redesigned play-to-earn and rating system, and more. Closed beta is the next phase the game is heading to, where players will be able to test the new Team Deathmatch game mode which the team revealed last month, while also helping test out boss fight mechanics, new maps, testnet P2E integration, and more.
