Ultimate Champions Releases Update on Economy
The update includes rewards changes and requirements for Legends Division, League Rewards, and MGC.
Changes in Rewards
Ultimate Champions has updated its economy, and the changes will reflect in Game Week 49 as Game Week 48 ends. There will be three action points for the tournament. Firstly, there will be a different fixed position reward threshold with plenty of rewards. This goal is to increase the number of positions with meaningful rewards as a total. In addition, smaller rewards will be given to a wider range of players in the updated wider percentage positions.
Another reward is the Star Athlete, added to the podium tournament positions. It is a selection of athletes that have been recently performing well. This reward aims to ensure top rewards are not disappointing without effecting small wallets and new players. However, there have also been several changes to positions which Managers believe are not rewarding enough.
Star Athlete comprises the top 110 Athletes by draft price with a position ratio of 1:4:4:2, 10 GK, 40 DEF, 40 MID, and 20 FW. The 110 is about 20% of the total active athletes, enough to offer good performers and large enough to not overwork athletes.
Legends Division and League Rewards
The Legends Division Requirements have also been updated and now consist of 1+ unique, Mythic cards and disallow Epic and Common cards.
The gaming project has also adjusted the values of rarity bonuses for the cards. As from Game Week 49 or after, there will be increased reward thresholds to give a higher amount of MGC and keep distributing Common cards. However, League rewards will not offer Epic cards or CHAMP again. Instead, the Top 100 in the Global Leagues leaderboard each Gameweek will get 1 Epic card and 200 Champ.
