Upland Organizes Buenos Aires Thrifty Trader Event
Recreational metaverse platform, Upland releases a special “Buenos Aires Thrifty Trader Event” and plans to reward the top 200 players with a Block Explorer.
Upland, a popular property blockchain-based game, has announced its intention to begin Buenos Aires: the Thrifty Trader Challenge on January 26, 2023, at 9:00 AM PT. The immersive event will encourage players to compete for the thriftiest player on the leaderboard.
According to the tweet on their official Twitter handle, players are expected to buy and sell properties located in the Argentine capital city. Interestingly, the top 200 players on the leaderboard will get a Buenos Aires Trader Block Explorer.
Major activities of Buenos Aires Thrifty Trader Event
The event will automatically create an Efficiency Value for all participants of the event which would help track players’ performance. This special event will be available from January 26 to January 29 to qualify for the Thrift Trader Challenge. The efficiency score will be based on essential in-game metrics. These metrics include relative profit score (a 30-day moving average of sales prices and actual sale prices), relative purchase score (a 30-day moving average of purchase prices and actual purchase prices), trading diversity (number of users transacting with), and trading volume (sizes of trades performed). The confluence of these four metrics determines the actual value of a player's Efficiency Value.
In addition to the Buenos Aires Trader Block Explorer, the gamer with the highest Efficiency Value will receive a 0.5 Spark and 250,000 UPX. The top 100 players will also win Spark and UPX. Other participating players in the ranking 101-200 position will get a small amount of UPX. The gaming platform reiterates that winning in this Buenos Aires Thrifty Trader Event is the only way of obtaining the Block Explorer. In other words, there will be no sales of the Block Explorer. Players are advised to participate in the contest in order to secure a unit of the in-game equipment.
