Voodoo Drops Hints About Voodoo Infinity
Paris-based hyper-casual gaming platform, Voodoo releases fresh updates on Voodoo Infinity, plans to revolutionize Web3 gaming.
Popular French hyper-casual game publisher, Voodoo has released more hints on its new gaming ecosystem, Voodoo Infinity. The team aims to take blockchain gaming to a new level with the special release. The blockchain platform will have its native cryptocurrency with which players can earn prizes. The Voodoo coin will be mainly utilized in paying for all paid segments of the gaming platform. According to the roadmap, the gaming platform is expected to be publicly launched by Q3 2023. At the moment, there are over 20 games in development. These developments are ongoing in partnership with about 10 external and internal gaming studios. Voodoo claims to have invested a total of $200M in both existing and upcoming gaming studios.
Furthermore, Voodoo plans to set up its own Discord community by the summer of 2023. This social hub will primarily serve as a center of information and token distribution. Interestingly, gamers can also receive NFTs. The team will be launching the official application for Voodoo Infinity on Google Play Store and App Store. Voodoo currently targets a casual mobile playerbase baiting players with interesting game titles. The company recently recorded a download of over 6 billion across its library of apps and games. Within the first nine months of Voodoo's debut, the company recorded over 1 billion downloads.
Voodoo Studios: Achievement So Far
Another progressive milestone recently unlocked by the Voodoo is its Academy program. The program has accommodated over 2000 participants which led to the creation and growth of over 100 gaming studios. Voodoo began the initiative in April 2022 and is currently open to development of more hyper-casual games in line with its new Voodoo's publishing strategy for 2023.
