Voxies NFT Avatars Are Now Available in The Sandbox
Owners can now use their Voxies NFTs as avatars in The Sandbox metaverse.
AlwaysGeeky Games and The Sandbox have announced that Voxies NFT avatars are now officially available for use in the popular gaming metaverse.
All NFT holders can now head to the official website of the voxel-themed metaverse, connect their wallet and go to the Avatar section found in the profile dropdown menu. If you own a Voxies NFT, you should be able to see it in the My Avatar collection, where you can equip it in order to use it as your character in various experiences hosted on the well-known platform.
In other news, the developers of the free-to-play tactical RPG recently hosted “The 12 Days of Voxies” which included various giveaways, with the last one featuring a gaming PC featuring a RTX 3080 and Ryzen 7 5800X, all coupled together with various peripherals and a monitor. The winner for this last giveaway will be announced December 30 at 11 AM EST.
Last month, AlwaysGeeky Games unveiled the 2022/2023 Voxies NFT and Voxie Tactics roadmap, while this month, The Sandbox became the first customer of OpenZeppelin’s metaverse security service. The launch of these avatars on the Sandbox was one of the things part of the new roadmap.
Voxie Tactics currently features PvP gameplay and is available for free on Windows PCs, with a mobile launch and PvE action set to come out at some point in 2023.
