Vulcan Forged launches Vulcan Runner V.3
The new version of the 3D endless runner includes various new features and bug fixes. Vulcan Runner will be the next game in the Vulcan Forged ecosystem to feature XP and LAVA earning.
Vulcan Forged has announced the launch of Vulcan Runner V.3 in a recent tweet.
The tweet which shows some gameplay footage states that the new version is “stuffed full of new features and bug fixes,” while also mentioning that this game is the next title in line in the Vulcan Forged ecosystem to include the ability to earn XP, and then LAVA afterwards, the earnable token that will be available in all Vulcan Forged games.
Vulcan Runner is a 3D endless runner made in Unreal Engine 5. It will require having either the Frenzy Monthly Pass or the Frenzy Infinite Pass in order to actually gain LAVA from the Frenzy LAVA pools once it’s enabled in the future. A Frenzy Monthly Pass costs 2 $PYR per month, which is the utility token at the core of this fantasy-themed gaming platform. If you don’t want to pay every month, then you could buy the Frenzy Infinite Pass for 10 $PYR and enjoy access to all of the perks the Frenzy Pass has to offer forever.
Each game that is part of the Frenzy system, such as Vulcan Runner, also has an entry fee of 1 $LAVA per game, meaning that for every playthrough a player has to put in 1 $LAVA after they lose in order to play again, akin to an arcade machine. Those who manage to rank top 50 in the leaderboard for that day “will win a share of 50% of the $LAVA from all users paid enter.”
Even if you don’t have the Frenzy Pass though, the developers have stated in the previously linked Medium post that there will be “a small amount of $LAVA per day, per game for free-to-play gamers to win in the Top 50.”
