Walken Introduces CAThlete Fusion Event to Celebrate 2 Million Player Milestone
Players can exchange their CAThletes for higher rarity ones during the exclusive event.
What you need to know about the Walken CAThlete Fusion Event
After reaching 2 million players on its mobile platform, Walken is looking to celebrate this by launching a limited-time campaign - CAThlete Fusion Event. The 7-day event will commence in the next update, allowing users to get higher rarity CAThletes by fusing their existing ones.
Unlike breeding, new CAThletes produced through fusion won't be taking after the fused CAThletes in terms of genes or rarity. Whenever players exchange 2 NFT CAThletes for a new one, it's guaranteed to be of a higher rarity than Common ones. This will allow users to get a rare or legendary character, even if they are only fusing Common CAThletes in this campaign.
Once the event is live, players will find a dedicated CAThlete Fusion banner flashing on the Wallet screen. All they need to do is tap on it and check the event details before initiating the fusion. The entire process is similar to how breeding works, so it should be fairly easy to navigate. Each fusion will cost 300 $WLKN and 3500 Mysberries, with 7,000 fusions available at max.
Note that only NFT CAThletes from levels 6 to 10 can be sent for fusion. The higher the levels of fused CAThletes, the higher the chance of getting a rare CAThlete. While the rarity drop chance depends on the levels of fused CAThletes, the gene setup of each output CAThlete is randomly generated. Players can check the specific rarity and level drop chances of the output CAThlete before deciding whether to proceed with the fusion. Note that the entire process is irreversible. Once performed, NFT CAThletes fused will no longer be part of the game.
