Walken Runner Releases Second Version
The version allows players to win rewards and have fun at their convenience.

The CAThlete Feature
Walken Runner released its second version three months after the first one was released. The v1 became available in November 2022 and saw massive user engagement, with many speculating how the game will change to showcase the mission and structure of the soon-to-be-released Walken casual game ecosystem.
Walken Runner is the first over-casual game of the Walken ecosystem of hyper-casual games carrying the vision of web3 and DeFi games. It is an important milestone towards an ambitious goal of creating an ecosystem of casual games and going beyond normal asset utility in the future side games.
Walken Runner is a runner game designed to accommodate players who, by invitation, join the CAThlete for a run with a boss at the other end of the track. Players must pass gates, update stats, harvest crystals, and go over obstacles to allow the CAThlete prepared to bring done the walls and defeat the boss.
Walken is Free-to-Play
Walken allows players to earn $WLKN tokens, Mysberries, and GEM, in addition to the fun everyone will enjoy. Also, a part of the generated revenue will be apportioned for $WLKN token buybacks which will help sustain the ecosystem and support the token price. The game is free-to-play, with no requirements like special NFTs or fees. In this new version, players must sign in to their Walken account via wallet.
Another important update is that this version has no seasons or tournaments, so players can keep playing until they're tired.
In the first version, the chance of getting $WLKN rewards was restricted in terms of time and the number of winners. This became uninteresting as it was illogical for some to fit into the TOP-5000. However, this new version has found a solution, and players can play conveniently.
