Walker Labs Unveils New Metaverse Game
The game is metaverse-adaptive with cross-platform interoperability, allowing players to create 3D characters that can be used across multiple games.

Walker Labs, a web 3 gaming studio, has unveiled and released a teaser trailer of its new gameplay - Walker World.
Walker World is a multiplayer metaverse game built in Unreal Engine 5. This open-source advanced real-time 3D creation tool allows creators to make content with photoreal visuals and immersive experiences.
Walker World is an immersive, open-world, third-person shooter and adventure game. Players can team up to explore various landscapes, fend off ravenous zombies and hunt for rewards. In addition, players can create, own and upgrade characters called Walkers. The game also allows users to purchase and sell in-game items such as weapons and territories.
Daniel Branteström, the co-founder of Walker Labs, said,

Our team is so proud of the story, the Walker characters and the world we’re building. We see the metaverse as the next evolution of interoperable gaming, and Walker World takes full advantage of those possibilities.”

Walker World is spearheaded by a team of industry veterans from AAA game developers, including EA, Ubisoft, DICE, Rovio and Weta Workshop. The beta launch of the Walker World game is slated for late 2023, and 6,545 Walker characters-Cryptowalkers- have been integrated into Jadu’s cutting-edge Web3 AR platform, The Mirrorverse.
The unveiling of Walker World was also accompanied by an announcement of a $2 million funding round led by Merit Circle and Citizen X. The fundraising also attracted participation from Kevin Lin, Futureverse and Altered State Machine etc.
