Wanderers, a Blockchain Action Roguelike, Gets Official Hero Trailer Featuring Pre-Alpha Gameplay
The developers of blockchain action roguelike Wanderers have published an official hero trailer featuring snippets of pre-alpha footage showing stylish isometric sci-fi gameplay.

The team behind Wanderers, an upcoming blockchain action roguelike backed by Animoca Brands and GameFi Ventures, have released an official Hero trailer for a character named Vesna, revealing bits of gameplay at the end of the video.
The trailer is narrated by the aforementioned hero who talks about an artificial wormhole destroying many planets, with many elite pilots incapable of stopping it. In an effort to protect her own star, she uses a miniature gateway through which she can step into the wormhole and endlessly go through a cycle of life and death, waking up before the gate each time for another chance at earning redemption. After this cinematic section, the trailer cues to action-packed pre-alpha footage showcasing isometric dungeon crawling sci-fi gameplay. You can check out the stylish action for yourself in the trailer embedded in the post down below. If you’d like to watch it on YouTube instead, you can do so through here.
While not many details seem to currently be available at the time of writing, players can expect to fight their way through seasonal planets using a unique set of characters. This means that players will get to enjoy a different planet every season, with each season set to likely feature differing enemies to take on while each playthrough will be unique thanks to procedurally-generated environments.
Everyone who is interested in trying this upcoming blockchain title out can sign up for an early access waitlist on the official website. Back in November last year, the developers secured $2 million in a seed round led by Animoca Brands and GameFi Ventures, with work on the game underway in partnership with Blowfish Studios, who you may know as the developers of Phantom Galaxies, a space sim mech game.
