Wasted Lands Arena Season 5 is Now Live
The Wasted Lands Arena recently announced their Season 5. The Wasted Lands Arena Season 5 is officially released on January 10, 2023, and is accessible for both play-to-earn and free-to-play users.
Specification for Free-to-Play Users
In the Wasted Lands Arena Season 5, free-to-play users will be able to play the game by downloading it and selecting [Play Trial] mode. To start, players will not gain any rankings or rewards while using the free trial mode. Further, this mode allows users to test the warrior NFTs and play the game without receiving any WAL.
Each free trial account will include 13 warrior NFTs for users to play and build their teams. All warrior NFTs on free-to-play accounts will have all rarities at random. Each free trial account will earn 40 Stamina daily, which will reset after 24 hours.
Specification for Play to Earn users
As per the medium article by the team, Play to Earn users will receive a point and WAL rewards when they join and battle in PvP with other gamers, irrespective of whether they lose or win. The point will decide their leaderboard ranking score. Each PvP battle costs 2 Stamina. The game system will choose the user's next opponents according to the following rule:
The earliest enrolment date in Wasted Lands Arena Season 5 will be 10th January 2023. The last day to join will be the day before Arena Season 5 ends at 0h UTC on February 10, 2023.
Users may earn two types of rewards:
- ranking rewards for the top 500 users (at the end of the season) and
- rewards per match (counted by winning matches).
The gaming team will use the following rules to compute the reward per match: LOSE = 0 WAL, DRAW = 0.05 WAL, WIN = 0.2 WAL. Players can claim WAL rewards 14 days after each match.
How to Participate
According to the team, to participate in the Wasted Lands Arena Season 5's play-to-earn mode, each player must have at least one NFT warrior. Warriors who are presently listed on the marketplace will not be able to participate in the game. Warriors transferred from one wallet to another and would have to wait up to 24 hours before they could play.
