Wild Forest Launches Open Beta for Season 0
News

Wild Forest has commenced the Open Beta for Season 0 events. In this event, players will earn NFT rewards as they make progress. There are also free premium Battle Pass waiting for those who follow instructions as stated in the report.

Wild Forest seamlessly merges engaging strategy gameplay with a captivating card collection experience. Central to Wild Forest's strategic depth is its robust deck-building mechanism. Players constantly delve into the world of card collection, refining their decks. They keep experimenting with diverse combinations to gain an edge in battles.

Every Wild Forest battle revolves around units and spells, each represented by a distinctive card. To ensure a level playing field, default cards are provided upon account creation. These cards cannot be traded, upgraded, or sold, setting them apart from in-game NFT cards.

The default deck comprises a well-balanced assortment of units. The units range from close-combat infantry and ranged archers to formidable artillery. Notable strategies from our alpha-testers involve combinations of units such as piglet archers. However, the full spectrum of strategies awaits your discovery.

Details of the Gameplay Mechanics

Players progressively accumulate experience points and gold, enabling them to fortify their decks. Units begin at Level 1 but can be upgraded with experience, enhancing their capabilities. This progression aligns with blockchain-based digital ownership, opening up avenues for trading.

Battles initiate with most territories neutral, except for the bases of competing players. Players can use their initial units to claim territories which allow for the building construction. While the placement of buildings is predetermined, players can expand their dominion and vye for control.

The game features three primary building types: Towers, Mines, and Barracks. Towers serve as defensive fortifications, actively targeting and damaging encroaching enemy units. Mines generate energy vital for various in-game actions. This includes unit spawning, building placement, and upgrades. Barracks, however, act as the birthplaces of new units, introducing an essential element of strategy. It is where players manage their resources and control their actions.
