Wizarre gets Roadmap Update
News

The team behind Wizarre, a turn-based NFT game, has recently updated the roadmap for their free-to-play title.

The newest version of the roadmap gives us info on what the developers plan on releasing in the final quarter of this year, Q1 of next year and the rest of 2023.

In Q3 of this year, the mobile app got improved with new design elements, the game went into closed alpha testing, all of the spell sets are were shown and a Ritual of Summoning upgrade happened, which made it possible for players to “leverage different ingredients during the process.” The Wizzare Marketplace is planned to launch sometime in the coming days, making it possible for players to “trade or purchase Wizards, Lands, Cards, and Enhancements.”

As for Q4 of 2022, the game is set to go live in open beta with “a basic version of Virtual Wallet” that makes it possible to play the blockchain game without having to connect their wallet. The game will also launch on mobile devices in the same quarter, while a feature called “Wizard Adventure” will get added to Wizard NFT staking. Speaking of staking, there will be a staking feature for $SCRL holders that will allow them to passively earn more tokens by staking on Land NFTs. Those who weren’t able to get a land plot in the first NFT sale will be able to do so in the second Land NFT sale, planned to take place at some point before the end of the year.

In 2023, players will be able to play ranked games across various leagues, take part in PVP mini-events, complete quests in a PvE single-player mode and more. For more details, check out the official post here.

Wizarre seems to be inspired by the popular Worms franchise and is currently available in a 3-day open alpha on Windows and Android devices. The open alpha started on October 7 and ends on October 9, the same time period in which the developers are showcasing their title at the Poznań Game Arena, a gaming event held in Poznań, Poland.
