Wombat Dungeon Master Season 9 Update Features New Wombatiums, Various Changes and More
The new update for Season 9 of Wombat Dungeon Master includes new Wombatiums in the in-game shop, a new set of items, various changes and more.
Developer Spielworks has announced a new update for Season 9 of Wombat Dungeon Master.
In the update post, apart from listing all the new changes and additions, the CEO and Founder of the game dev studio also revealed that Dungeon Master Season 8 proved to be a huge success with over 37,000 people playing the game and more than $25k in prizes in $WOMBAT tokens being awarded to players. Additionally, over 200k NFTs were minted in the dungeonitems collection. Season 9 of the popular game has begun and while it may be starting out a little slower, there are still some important changes to note.
One of the most significant changes is the adjustment to Mining Power (MP) movements. Some collections will receive a buff while others will experience a nerf. For example, grannysmagic MPs are effectively being halved, while EOS-based collections like Womplay are getting slight buffs of up to 20%. Additionally, the corpworldhel and byronartset1 collab NFTs will receive a buff of 20% on average.
In another move, Dungeon Master is enabling "beams" of Gold Extractors and Gold Aggregators from WAX to EOS. Players who want to exchange their WAX-based Extractors and Aggregators for EOS-based ones can send them to wombatredeem with their EOS account as a memo. The Golden Key is also redeemable now, with the first Golden Key sent granting the rights to be the Overlord for Season 9.
New Wombatiums will be available in the in-game shop with a small minting fee in $WOMBAT. The fee will be between 50 -100 $WOMBAT at first, and will depend on the overall material price for the Wombatium. Some of the new Wombatiums will include the Fusion Wombatium (EOS), Platinum Wombatium (EOS), Dust Wombatium (WAX), Scrap Wombatium (WAX), and Spike Wombatium (WAX).
Additionally, a new edition of items ("Zeta") is being developed with the remaining slots in Set 4 (Light, Bag, Top, Amulet), and a first drop of those items is planned for mid-season. The depth of the Well of Wealth remains unchanged at 380m, but additional reward layers are being added for materials and contribution rewards.
Finally, Christmas hats will no longer give a contribution boost in Season 9, but instead, they will become stakable for MP, with 5 MP for Level 0 and up to 1000 MP for Level 5.
