Yuga Labs, the powerhouse behind the Bored Ape Yacht Club, unveils a thrilling TwelveFold Ordinals puzzle competition, offering Bitcoin enthusiasts a chance to win substantial prizes over a span of 13 weeks.

Yuga Labs, the creative force behind the Bored Ape Yacht Club, has launched the TwelveFold Ordinals puzzle competition. This initiative promises Bitcoin and Ordinals enthusiasts an opportunity to win big, with substantial Bitcoin prizes up for grabs over a period of 13 weeks. This competition not only embodies the spirit of innovation that Yuga Labs is renowned for but also brings a fresh wave of excitement to the crypto space.
TwelveFold: A Harmonious Blend of Art and Bitcoin
TwelveFold stands as a beacon in the fusion of art and Bitcoin, representing a collection of 300 masterpieces built on the Ordinals protocol, one of the most buzzed-about platforms this year. This collection allows users to inscribe NFT-like artwork directly onto the Bitcoin blockchain, symbolizing a revolutionary data storage method on this platform. Despite initial scepticism during its March auction, Yuga Labs successfully raised a staggering $16.5 million through 288 bids, underscoring the immense potential and appeal of this initiative.
Each piece in the TwelveFold collection is a meticulously crafted 12x12 grid that combines 3D graphics with hand-drawn elements, encapsulating the essence of the Bitcoin blockchain's data storage method. These artworks, etched onto individual satoshis (the smallest unit of Bitcoin), serve as the foundation for this exhilarating puzzle series, emphasizing the intricate relationship between time, mathematics, and variability.

The Moon and Sun Puzzles
Adding to the fervour, Yuga Labs has rolled out a series of "Moon Puzzles", set to be released weekly over the next 12 weeks. Each week, a prize of 0.12 Bitcoin, equivalent to approximately $3,090, awaits the first individual to successfully crack the puzzle. The competition culminates in the 13th week with the unveiling of the "Sun Puzzle", where the victor will be rewarded with a coveted TwelveFold Ordinal, currently valued at around 0.9 BTC or about $23,150 on the Magic Eden secondary marketplace.
This competition is open to all, with no requirement for participants to be TwelveFold asset owners. However, Yuga Labs has hinted at a surprise in store for TwelveFold holders, adding a layer of anticipation to the event. To participate, individuals need an Ordinals Bitcoin wallet, such as Xverse or Unisat, and can then immerse themselves in the puzzle extravaganza, showcasing their creative or logical prowess. Notably, the answers to the puzzles will be immortalized forever on the Bitcoin blockchain via satoshis.
