Zoids Wild Arena Announces 2nd Frontier Test
The 2nd Frontier Test for Zoids Wild Arena is scheduled to start this month on Wednesday, January 25th.
The team behind the online card battle game, Zoids Wild Arena, has announced that the 2nd Frontier Test will commence this month, on January 25th.
Aside from the starting date, no other info was provided at the time of writing, but more details will likely be revealed over time as the second test phase draws near. In the meantime, we can probably get a general idea on what to expect based on the first Frontier Test that took place back in November last year.
For that first one, the developers allowed anyone to test out the game, regardless of whether they had an NFT or not, so long as they created an account and linked their MetaMask wallet, giving participants the option to download the game’s client on PC and Android devices. It included $20k in prizes, with the top 3000 receiving USDT, while 1000 players who left constructive feedback to the development team were given a Gilraptor NFT card.
Back then though, the game was called Zoids Wild NFT Arena. On January 2nd this year, the team tweeted an official announcement stating that from this year and onwards, the game will now be called Zoids Wild Arena, so without the NFT part in the title. A new logo has also been made as a result, one which they label as being “simple and distinctive”. These changes do not signal a shift in the game’s core design, as the developers have confirmed that the “essence remains intact” and that they will still “support blockchain technology for NFT transactions and others.”
