ZTX Announces Second Playtest
The playtest has an enhanced Avatar Creator experience, and players have total control over the new crafting system.
ZTX, a 3D virtual world, has officially launched its highly anticipated second Playtest. This Playtest introduces new gameplay elements, immersing players in crafting and resource collection, fostering a more dynamic and interactive experience.
Playtest Details and Dates
Players can access the new game version on the ZTX website, which is compatible with PC and Mac devices. Players must create ZTX accounts, which serve as Web3 wallets, managed by their chosen social recovery keys to participate. The Playtest 2 is scheduled for a week, commencing on October 7 and concluding on October 14.
In contrast to the first Playtest, which emphasized the Decorator Mode, offering an array of placeable assets, Playtest 2 introduces a crafting system. Players are tasked with crafting placeables at the Fusion Forge. This crafting process, however, necessitates the collection of two types of resources: organics and minerals. Organics encompass plants and trees that can be cultivated and harvested in the player's orchard. On the other hand, minerals include metals, ores, and industrial resources obtained through mining using the Mineral Extractor.
Asset Control and Customization
During Playtest 2, Land and Home areas will no longer come pre-decorated or furnished. Players have the creative freedom to design and decorate their virtual spaces, making every aspect uniquely their ownThe game introduces player tutorials for essential tasks such as harvesting, resource extraction, trading, and using the in-game currency Gold. Gold can be used to purchase minerals, organics, and facilitate crafting. Trading initially occurs between players and the game, with plans to enable player-to-player trading.
